Dr. Chris A. Deutscher
Dr. Chris Deutscher grew up in Clay Center Kansas, and graduated from Kansas State University in 1992 with a B.S. degree in Life Science. During his optometric education at the University of Houston, he received training at the VA Medical Center in Boise, Idaho and Mann/Berkley Eye Center in Houston, Texas before receiving his Doctorate in 1996. Dr. Deutscher is a resident staff consultant to the Kansas Neurological Institute in Topeka. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Kansas Optometric Association. Dr. Deutscher and his wife Brandy have two sons Blake and Cale.
Dr. Charlie Rottinghaus
Dr. Charlie Rottinghaus grew up on a farm outside Wetmore, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Food Science and Industry. He proceeded to study optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian. Dr. Rottinghaus’s formal training included clinical rotations at Kohake, Deutscher, and Hefner, the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, and the Cornea/ Contact Lens Center for Clinical Excellence in Chicago. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Kansas Optometric Association, and the Leadership KOA class of 2010. Dr. Rottinghaus and his wife Carrie have 4 children daughter Ava and sons Owen, Isaac and Elias.
Dr. Brett Oxandale
Dr. Oxandale has been practicing optometry in Topeka and Netawaka, Kansas for over 10 years. He is trained in the management and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and almost all types of acute and chronic eye conditions. His educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washburn University and a Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Oxandale graduated from Optometry school with Cum Laude honors. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association.
Dr. Oxandale was born and raised in Netawaka, Kansas and graduated from Jackson Heights High School. He made the choice to return to Kansas to practice as an Optometrist in order to serve the communities surrounding his hometown. When Dr. Oxandale isn’t providing high quality eye care service, a majority of his time is spent with his family, wife Brooke and his son Gavin. He enjoys participating in family functions, attending church, playing recreational sports and being outdoors.
